Light and Time. A Dialogue with Place and Self.
We invite you to the summer meeting of the Authentic Movement, in the village of Abeliona, near the temple of Apollo Epicurus, in an area with a rich natural environment, which the ancients considered to be the dwelling place of the gods. We will practice the practice of Authentic Movement, in the yurt of Abeliona Retreat, but also outdoors, in nature. We will have the opportunity to coexist with others, to connect with nature and through our contact with the landscape, to seek traces of the mythological narrative of the place that may have some personal meaning for us.

Authentic Movement explores and fuels creative, human interaction. It is applied as a practice of spiritual exploration, as a therapeutic practice in the context of a therapeutic relationship and as a method by which artistic groups work to produce - process material and complete projects.

Authentic Movement provides the opportunity of space and time for experiences of pure and silent awareness as a source of well-being.
They raise questions such as :
How do I observe myself and the external landscape? How do I experience my movement indoors and how do I experience my movement in nature?

How do I experience the silent dance in the presence of others and in the presence of nature?

How do I articulate the word and offer my pure experience while connecting with my Self, others and the environment?

Can I discern what it is that I need with a caring intention?
Details:

The meeting is aimed at people who wish to explore the practice with or without previous experience. It is also aimed at people from the mental health, arts and education sectors.

For those who have no previous experience with the practice of Authentic Movement, there will be a telephone or online briefing on the approach to the practice and its contraindications.
